My lovely mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer during the first week of lockdown and died 4 months later, the day after her 78th birthday in July 2020. It felt doubly cruel to be diagnosed with such a terrible illness, but also to be diagnosed during the pandemic with all the restrictions in place that my mum duly observed. The kindest, most selfless person who is missed so much by all her family. 🦋
