Mick had previously recovered from bowel cancer 13 years before. His symptoms of back pain, loss of weight and digestion problems continued to be mid diagnosed by his GP for eighteen months. We changed our GP who immediately referred him to hospital for two weeks of investigations. The last thing that was done was an MRI scan. It was too late. He died six months later aged 52.
