For my stepdad, James, who died in May 2020, during lockdown, less than 4 weeks after discovering his diagnosis by reading the results of his scan. Never had a conversation with any professional to tell him his diagnosis and explain what would happen. A horrific time and no-one should have to go through this. He had been having the wrong tests and scans during his 2+ years of symptoms, and been given a full bill of health not long prior. The nurse from PCUK was a lifeline to me.
