Allan was diagnosed a month after retirement. Lost his chance of an operation because of last minute cancellation during the COVID lockdown. Died 12 months later as the chemo couldn't hold it at bay. A wonderful man who endured this terrible illness bravely. Loved and missed by all his family and friends. A life taken too soon. Our hope is that pancreatic cancer be given the same level of attention & funding as the other deadly cancers.
