Ray was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in January 2020. The doctor told him "Because of your age, there is nothing we can do for you" He was 83 and we had been married for 50 years. The cancer was too advanced because the nurse who did his annual check ups did not follow up that he had lost weight and his sugar had shot up to 10 from his usual 6. She just said he had diabetes. He died in September 2020 and I still miss him.
