Mary died in May 2001, just over two years ago. She wanted 'a last adventure' but this wasn't what she had in mind. 32 years together and my life is in pieces. Mary was so full of life and love and she coped with the impact of this ravaging disease with quiet acceptance and grace. Had the diagnosis come earlier, she might have lived. She had longer than many people - but she couldn't beat it. Every penny that we are raising in her name is targeting research into an early diagnosis.
